About me
Joe O’Rourke CIP

Joe was educated at Terenure College, Dublin and immediately pursued a career in the Insurance Industry spanning 37 years. He has held different senior roles and has been responsible for establishing start ups and has been involved in many different projects in Ireland.
In August 2014 he moved to Saudi Arabia to work at King Abdullah University for Science and Technology overseeing and managing their extensive insurance portfolio which covered the Campus, residential areas, recreation, Research Park, Marine fleets. He worked with Facilities and Legal departments advising on contractors’ insurance for a number of substantial developments including the Construction of new Research Buildings, Data centre, Procurement, delivery and instal of the largest Super computer in the Middle East.
In his spare time, he worked with the KAUST Fire Department, is a qualified PADI Rescue diver and also holds a Level 2 Power Boat License from the RYA.
